Jos Opdeweegh, Chief Executive Officer
Jos has global responsibility for day-to-day and tactical management of the corporation as well as the implementation of Neovia's strategic plans, with a view towards creating shareholder value. He joined Caterpillar Logistics Services on August 1, 2012 as its new CEO.
Jos has broad experience in logistics, M&A and capital markets. His most recent position was CEO at Americold Realty Trust, the world's largest owner and operator of temperature-controlled warehouses for frozen food. Prior to that, Jos was CEO of syncreon, a global provider of complex contract logistics solutions mainly to the technology and automotive industries between 2000 and 2007.
Jos has extensive management and board experience in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. He holds master's degrees in applied economics, operations research, and business administration from the University of Limburg in Belgium.
Daniel E. Spellman, Chief Operating Officer
Dan is responsible for the development, design, operation, improvement and measurement of Neovia's systems and processes. He ensures that the delivery of products and services to the company's clients is integrated, efficient and effective. Dan was appointed President and COO of Neovia in June 2012.
Dan was previously President of Caterpillar Logistics and had been with Caterpillar since 1977, holding various senior positions including President of the Americas and Asia, and leadership of the global automotive unit and Europe.
He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in marketing and operations research from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Illinois, and is a graduate of Wharton's Advanced Management Program.
Carey Falcone, Chief Commercial Officer
Carey has global responsibility for commercial business development, supply chain solutions, implementations, marketing and external communication. He has served in this role since February 2013.
Before joining Neovia, Carey served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer for Americold Logistics. He also served as Vice President of National Retail Sales for InBev leading the Convenience and Military channels. Prior to InBev, he worked for Anheuser-Busch for 15 years during which time he held a variety of senior management positions in distribution operations, revenue management, marketing, and retail sales.
Carey has a Bachelor's degree in business administration from James Madison University.
Joe Tomczak, Chief Financial Officer
As Neovia's CFO, Joe is responsible for all financial activities of the company including investor relations, reporting, accounting, budgeting, planning, tax, debt financing, financial M&A activity, banking, and insurance. He joined the company in October 2012.
Prior to joining Neovia, Joe served as CFO at Martin-Brower, LLC. Before that he was an Operating Partner with a leading private equity firm. His career spans over 30 years, 14 of which were spent as CFO of both publicly traded and privately held companies. Most of Joe's experience is in the distribution and logistics sectors.
Joe is a CPA who majored in Accounting and Business Administration at Augustana College. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Tim Oglesby, Chief Technology Officer
Tim's responsibilities include IT, engineering, operating and strategic systems, EHS&S, Neovia's Bangalore staffing center, and records accuracy management. He brings firsthand knowledge across all IT disciplines: Governance, strategic planning, architecture, software, infrastructure, outsourcing, user support, networking, and project portfolio management.
Before joining Neovia, Tim was the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of several companies specializing in integrated logistics services, global automotive parts, global equipment leasing and financial services.
Tim holds Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from McMurray University in Abilene, Texas.
Hamid Arabzadeh, Chief Compliance Officer
Hamid is responsible for Neovia's domestic and international compliance strategy as well as its human resources strategy and execution, recruitment, learning and development, and internal communications.
Prior to joining Neovia, Hamid was Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Americold. Previously he owned and managed HRA Environmental Consultants in California. He has held senior positions in both private companies and government institutions, leading all environmental health and safety initiatives. He currently serves as volunteer faculty for the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine.
Hamid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, as well as two graduate degrees from McGill University in Canada.
Michael J. Delaney, Chief Legal Counsel
Michael leads activity for all legal matters at Neovia. He has served in this role with Neovia since May 2013.
Before joining Neovia, Michael served as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Americold Realty Trust. Prior to that, Michael was in private practice as a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP (now Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP) and Powell Goldstein, LLP (now Bryan Cave LLP).
Michael holds a Bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall College, a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
